Driving Mindset Shift to Product Oriented Delivery
We delivered tangible and meaningful change to an organization moving from project-based execution to product-oriented thinking.
The Business Opportunity
A team responsible for enabling regulatory capabilities in a large pharmaceutical organization was preparing for a major digital transformation.
With a growing need to shift from project-based execution to product-oriented thinking, they faced a challenge familiar to many: how to build the right mindset, behaviors, and depth of capability – without pulling people away from the critical work already on their plates. The desire for change was strong, but the path to making it real, repeatable, and relevant to daily work required focused support.
Inspired Consulting
Stone kicked off with an accelerated research cycle to assess readiness, identify existing behaviors aligned to product mindset, and establish a baseline of current capabilities.
From there, we curated a surround-sound change enablement approach – blending capability development, cohort-based learning, leadership team activation, and one-on-one coaching. The result was a highly customized and practical learning journey that embedded the material into daily work and made it easy for the team to live, not just learn, product principles.
Meaningful Results
The team became energized and engaged, with leaders and team members embracing the shifts as tangible and relevant. They began fusing new behaviors into everyday work, actively building the muscles to lead and deliver in a new way.
The cohort-based learning created shared language, broke down silos, and encouraged experimentation without fear. Leadership coaching allowed space to reflect on culture and priorities – not just output – leading to clearer alignment. Most importantly, the learning wasn’t a bolt-on. It became a natural part of how the team operated, creating real stickiness and momentum for continued growth.
Why We Loved This Project
This wasn’t about checking a box on product training. It was about shaping a culture. Watching the team reach across silos, try new behaviors, and ask fearless questions was inspiring.
Leaders leaned into the deeper questions of how they want to show up – not just what they need to deliver. That kind of curiosity, courage, and connected learning is where real transformation begins.
